The Richard M. Keane Foundation offers enrichment programs to all students in the five elementary schools in the town of Wethersfield through the Keane Kids After School Enrichment Program, Keane Hands-on Learning Program, and the Keane 9/11 Sports Center Programs.
The Keane Kids After School Enrichment Program began 9 years ago. Our commitment is to consistently provide a variety of Afterschool Enrichment programs at all Wethersfield Elementary Schools in a safe and fun environment where young students can come together to participate in athletic, academic, and social programs with the support and guidance of caring adults. The Richard M. Keane Foundation and program registration fees solely fund the Program. It is administered in partnership with the Richard M. Keane Foundation, the Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Dept., and the Wethersfield School District. Wethersfield has five Elementary Schools and a total of 1,983 students enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year.
